New website

I am working on an 'official' website on weebley for the piggies.  I will post a link of it when I get it up and running.  I took some more pics of the pigs, but not too happy with them.  I need to take more later and change them, but for now they will have to do.  Sahari still hasn't had her babies.  Should be any day now. I can't wait to have my first litter of skinnies!

Pig-tures!

I'm still working on getting more pictures up of all the piggies.  I did some of the skinny boys tonight and they are up.  Click on the 'Our Skinny Pig Boars' tap to take a look!  They are handsome boys!

Settling In

All of the new arrivals have been doing great. Everyone is eating well and are all very active.  I love to just sit and watch them play and popcorn around their cages.
I have been adding some pics to the other pages.  I still have many more photos to get on here.

They are here!

They finally made it!  After all the waiting, the skinny pigs & Baldwin carriers have arrived!  They made it home from the airport safe and sound.  I couldn't wait to open their carrier and get to see them all.  When I opened up their carrier they were all tucked in there nice and warm and doing well.  I will be getting current individual pictures up soon!

Skinny pigs

Unfortunately, American Airlines does not fly into Medford so we were not able to pick up the guinea pigs today!  So, off to Portland we go this weekend to pick up the new additions.  I can't wait to see them all and get them home!

Update:  Shipping today didn't go as expected.  Next hopeful shipping date will be on Wednesday!  Using a different airline this time!

Update 11-9-10: Their flight is booked and they will be here tomorrow afternoon!

Rehoming two of the babies

This week I decided to rehome two of Butterscotch's babies.  I need to make room for the skinnies and this colorful little litter was unexpected, so two of them are off to new homes.  I was just going to rehome the little boy, after putting an ad on Craigslist, I got two emails.  I thought about it and decided to contact the second person to respond and see if they would be interested in one of the female babies.  They said yes, so Saturday night, they came and got her.  I'm sure she is in a very good home and getting spoiled!  Her brother will be going to his new home tomorrow morning.  I have decided to keep the red female and use her in my skinny pig breeding program.
